Subject: The Corona virus and our services.

Dear Sir / Madam,

The coronavirus affects us all! As of March 2020, we informed you on a regular basis, by mail or by updates on our website www.eresm.nl, about our approach and measures aimed at preventing the spread of the Corona virus. The government has now relaxed several measures. We have therefore reassessed our services. The health and safety of you and our employees is also of prime importance in this renewed assessment. We will continue to follow the advice and guidelines of the Government and RIVM (www.rivm.nl). Depending on the situation and any new measures that the Government is taking, we may have to take additional measures.

We have limited the occupation of our office for health reasons and our colleagues work from home. We use the normal office hours. We do ask you to contact us by email as much as possible (info@eresm.nl or technischbeheer@eresm.nl).

At the start of the Covid-19 crisis situation in March 2020, we were only able to process urgent repair requests. We now handle, with due observance of the guidelines below, all requests for repairs.

If you have a repair request or a request regarding your rental, we will endeavor to contact you within 5 working days.

In all cases, if there is a repair or an inspection of the house you have rented, extra safety measures will apply at the time the work is carried out. Repairs and inspections will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines below;

  • Limited occupancy: the number of craftsmen working is limited to a maximum of 2 people. During the work, the space is not accessible to the tenant. The tenant can of course enter the room after consultation, after the workers have left the room for a while;
  • Limited working day: In order to prevent a long-term presence at one address, the work is carried out for a maximum of 4 hours consecutively. If the work takes longer, an appointment will be made again to complete the work. An exception to this rule are urgent repairs (serious leaks, heating problems, (electrical) faults and blockages, fire-risk situations, etc.). These extremely urgent repairs will be remedied even if this means that the 4 hours are exceeded;
  • 1.5 meter distance rule: The 1.5 meter distance rule is always guaranteed. If this is not possible, mouth masks are worn;
  • Ventilation: The room where the work takes place must be well ventilated. Also during the work. If this is not possible, mouth masks are worn;
  • Cleaning: the contractor starts the work with disinfected tools. After a working visit ends, the space is cleaned well and the contractor will disinfect his tools again. The room remains ventilated, if possible;
  • No restrictions on the common area/outside work: Work on the common areas and on the outside of the complex will be carried out without restrictions.

Finally, we politely ask that when a repair or inspection appointment is scheduled with you, to contact the repairer or broker in advance if you have symptoms of the virus, such as fever, cold, sore throat, sneezing.

We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Kind regards,
